Hi Rachel...You've got your wish. Ty and Annie's story -- BEST FRIENDS...FOREVER -- will be out in February 2010. I'm writing it now. I know that's a long wait, but there will be a whole new Chesapeake Shores series out in April, May and June 2009, plus three reissues in January 2010.

What reissues come out in 2010??? I'm just finishing Welcome To Serenity...book 4 in the Sweet Magnolias. I started out not liking Jeanette, but I've come to really like her. I want to hear more about her and Tom. I've already been trying to predict how they will end up in this book.

I'm so happy that you ended up liking both Jeanette and Mary Vaughn! I always think it's fascinating in real life how a person we've disliked can be redeemed once we understand them better. I wanted readers to see Mary Vaughn in a new light, especially after she dared to mess with Dana Sue's guy!

This book is the first of your books I've read and I fell for each and every one of the characters! I loved how the men in love with the sweet magnolias are just as meddling as the sweet magnolias themselves! Of course now I intend to use every gift card I received for Christmas to buy up the first 3 sweet magnolia books and whatever other books of yours I can find! Thanks!

Love and true happiness can truly set you free!

I am so excited to hear another book is coming. I hope it also gives us some insight as to what happened between Mary Vaughn and Sonny. I really got interested in them this last book. I can't wait to see what is going on with Ty and Annie.

I have to say I just got turned on to Sherryl Woods 2 weeks ago and I just finished reading the 4th book of the Sweet Magnolias and I fell in love with each and everyone of the characters. I felt like I was right in Serenity with each and everyone of them.I have just started Mending Fences and look forward to reading all the other books I can get my hands on. I am so happy to hear that there will be a continuation of this series with the story behind Annie and Ty because it definatly left you wondering what was going on. Look forward to keeping in touch with all of you.

Wendy, How lucky to be starting to read the wonderful books by Sherryl Woods. I went on a re-reading binge and have all of her books beginning with the continuing series of And Baby Makes Three. ( think that's the title of the first book in the series...three books in one). I love all the books and rereading is just like reading them for the first time. I'm just starting to reread the last of her books...WELCOME TO SERENITY...I read the different series out of order but the books in each series, I've read in order. Be sure to get the Charleston series...one of my favorites. I hope this makes sense.

I just saw that there will be a fifth book in the series, published in February, 2010, and it will be about Ty and Annie. I've enjoyed the first four books, and the residents of Serenity have become "friends". Diane

I am so looking forward to the next book in the Sweet Magnolias series. I've read the first four, and the residents are now friends. Each book made references to previous books, which made them so enjoyable. Thanks again, Diane

I just finished reading all four of the Sweet Magnolias books. I read them one right after the other and enjoyed them all. Sherryl, I work in a very small library and I had never read any of your books until one of the patrons brought in a donation and Mending Fences was one of the books. I read that one and now I can't stop reading them. I went to a bookstore Friday and bought all of the Sweet Magnolia books and read them over the weekend. I am looking forward to Ty and Annie's story and also the new books in 2009.

Thanks so much for writing. There is nothing I like more than being discovered...unless maybe it's discovering a new author myself. In your case, not only am I happy that you're enjoying the books so much yourself, but working in a library, you'll be able to share them with readers there. Booksellers and librarians are the best sources around for finding new authors to read. Hope you continue to enjoy everything of mine you're able to find.

Hi Kelly... The Trinity Harbor trilogy -- the series set in my fictional version of Colonial Beach -- will be reissued and in stores around January 27. All three books -- ABOUT THAT MAN, ASK ANYONE and ALONG CAME TROUBLE -- should be shelved on the same date. As for the new Chesapeake Shores series, THE INN AT EAGLE POINT is due in stores by March 31. FLOWERS ON MAIN will follow on April 28 and HARBOR LIGHTS should be on the shelves by May 26. I'm hoping to have all the books at Market Day in Colonial Beach on Saturday, May 23...Memorial Day weekend.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-12-09 AT 02:18 PM (EST)

Here's an update on the timetable for more from Serenity. Because I insanely decided to do three more books for back-to-back release, they're now scheduled for April, May and June 2010. The first, HOME IN CAROLINA, will be Ty and Annie's story, with the subsequent stories about Annie's friends Sarah and Raylene. Lots of updates on the original Sweet Magnolias, too.

Hi, I am new to the board and new to Cheryl's books--I bought one at the airport when I realized I left my reading material at home. I had noticed all three of the Sweet Magnolias books at the shop, but I only bought "Stealing Home", I was hooked! I had the book finished by the time I landed and I before I left the airport, I immediately went into another store and bought the other two which I enjoyed as well, I liked that you gave Janette her own story and was glad to see that we saw Mary Vaughan more and got see what made her tick. I am so excited to learn that there will be another segment due out in 2010--it seems so far away! From I read it will be Ty and Annie's story, I am wondering if some of the story will deal with Bill--specifically if his relationship with his children has improved at all? For some reason after I finished "Stealing Home", I have been thinking a lot about Bill. Not that I view Bill as a hero or anything, but, I think that there could be a story there, how a man who had a good thing let it all slip away by his own stupid actions and how he attempts to rebuild his life. I also enjoyed how you protrayed Noreen in the book, I was glad to see you gave her the strength to leave Bill.

Though Bill does reappear in HOME IN CAROLINA, Ty and Annie's story out in April 2010, I'm afraid he doesn't have a major role in the story. He and Ty do exchange some insights at one point, but that's it. And since the focus of the next two books is on Annie's friends, Sarah and Raylene, Bill isn't in there either. But when it comes to husbands trying to redeem themselves, Sarah's ex-husband does take a stab at it...with Mary Vaughn's daughter, Rory Sue, who gives him a real run for his money. I think dealing with her almost makes up for the grief Walter gave Sarah during their marriage!

Thanks, Renee. Not only will readers meet a new generation of Sweet Magnolias in this new trilogy, but the old favorites will be back again with some interesting new twists. In fact, in Home in Carolina, the long-awaited story of Annie Sullivan and Ty Townsend, there's a really fun storyline with Helen. You'll get to see the workaholic attorney try to juggle not only marriage and her new baby, but the return of her mother who's recovering from a broken hip. I think it's a storyline that will resonate with lots of women who are balancing kids and aging parents.

Okay, I'm confused. How many new books from the Sweet Magnolia series will be coming out this year? I see on Amazon there is Home in Carolina and Sweet Tea At Sunrise. Is that correct? Are there more? I thought it said a trilogy. If so what is the third book called? Then I read somewhere there will be a fourth book as well. I read the first four. I just finished Welcome To Serenity and LOVED it. Please help!

There will be three new Sweet Magnolias books this spring. Amazon may not have the third one posted yet because it's not out till June. Here's the list, though: Home in Carolina will hit stores at the end of March, followed by Sweet Tea at Sunrise at the end of April, and Honeysuckle Summer is in stores at the end of May. By the way, if any of you happen to live in Ohio, I will be doing the book fair at the Romantic Times conference in Columbus on Saturday, May 1, and I will be holding a special Sweet Tea at Sunrise event that same afternoon. Check www.RTBookClub.com for more information. Sherryl

Sheryl and all Sweet Magnolias I bought Home in Carolina today but I decided to start the rereading the first set of the Sweet Magnolias before starting the new trilogy set so by the time the last 2 come out I should be ready to read them all. One of the things I Love about your books Sheryl is that you feel like you are right their living in the same place and being in the same place with the sweet magnolias they feel like friends. It's a place I like to go reread when I am feeling lonely and I need my friends around me. You do that when you right that is what I love about reading your books. ginlyn
