Sherryl's Readers' Forum

Dear friends, This is the place for you to share your thoughts about my books as well as your tips on writing. Please don't use this as a forum to discuss works by other authors, pro or con. There are plenty of places you can go for general book discussions. I'd like this to be a friendly place where you can get to know others who enjoy my books. Stir up a little controversy if something in a book bugged you, as long as it's done in a reasonably gentle way. Feel free to ask questions of me and each other. I'll sign on as frequently as possible to answer your questions. Okay, then...jump in anytime. Sherryl

"re series"

gcb I really enjoy the various series that you do, both the short ones and the longer novel series. I especially liked the Devaneys and the Calamity Janes. Will you be doing another series soon and if so what is the title of it? The humor in your books is great, thank you for interesting and fun reads.

Hi Glenda... I love reading and writing the series, so I suspect I will always find some way to do connected books. Yes, there will definitely be more. In 2004, I will have three books for Silhouette Special Edition in March, April and May as part of my "Million Dollar Destinies" series. Those are titled ISN'T IT RICH?, PRICELESS and TREASURED. Because I loved the madcap aunt who raised those three heroes so much, I wrote her story - DESTINY UNLEASHED -- for MIRA Books. It will be out in June, 2004. And I'm working on another four-book series, "Rose Cottage," for Silhouette Special Edition in 2005. Those titles are still to be determined, but it's about four sisters and the summer cottage each of them return to when their hearts are broken. Sherryl

O wonderful! More Sherryl books in a series

I've added them to my 'Sherryl List' so I know when to keep an eye out for them.

I'm so glad you write series, Sherryl. I love all your series and series in general

Hi. I have a copy of "Dream Mender" which I enjoyed a lot. I can't remember another book with the female character's illness. Although, I thought the book was too short and the ending kind of hasty. Are there any other books about Frank's family members? They're hilarious ! Thanks and Regards.

Hi Pippi... I did a short story with Frank's family. It was called A Bridge to Dreams, and was in a Silhouette Summer Sizzler anthology W-A-Y back. Always meant to go back and write about more of those characters, but I stopped doing Desires and concentrated on Special Editions, so I never did. Might be fun to take another look.

Hi, I just finished a Nora Roberts book and in the back it has an ad for your Calamity Janes series. I am a huge fan of series and would love to read the books. Could I get the names of the books so I search the net and bookstores for them. Also, if you have any other series please let me know. Thanks so much, Lori

Hi Lori... The books in the Calamity Janes series are Do You Take This Rebel?, Courting the Enemy, To Catch a Thief, The Calamity Janes (published as a single title, not a SSE) and Wrangling the Redhead. As indicted all were published by Silhouette Special Edition with the one exception. Hope you find them.

I have not managed to get all the books in the Calamity Jane series but now know which books to look out for, but just want to say I've thoroughly enjoyed the ones I read.
