"How I'm getting fit and losing weight"
 
   Just wanted to pass along to all of you...I've joined Curves and in two months time I've lost 10 pounds and a total of about 10 inches all over, not to mention that I have tons more energy! This is hands down the best thing I've done for myself in a LONG time...I'll be happy to offer encouragement to anyone who's having trouble getting started, as I know that's often times the hardest part..once you get going in a routine, it DOES get easier...just figure out what works best for you and GO FOR IT... you won't be sorry! I have a long way to go to lose all the weight I need to be healthier, but I'm going to do it, no matter how long it takes. Thanks for "listening"!

Sharon, I think of your efforts when I drive past the nearest Curves. One of these days I really need to stop and walk in the door. That's probably the best exercise anyone can do...the first step toward getting healthier. Let us know about your progress. Ten pounds sounds great to me. I lost that much this winter, but it took me months to do it. Another two pounds since I got to Virginia. At least it's going down, not up.

   Hi, I am new to The books and the forum. Just wanted to say I began Curves a few weeks ago. I am in mid 60's, thought I didn't have a weight problem as I am a size 8. But, I learned I am "over fat tissue and underweight for muscle" I need to tone up and strengthen if I don't want to become a little ol' stooped lady in the future. So, I am watching my calories, walking my energetic dog each day and doing Curves three times a week. I hope you are still doing well....appreciated the encouragement.
