sleepliss_n_wv Member since May-28-09 1 posts May-28-09, 11:40 AM (EST)   "I love the Sweet Magnolias!"      I picked up the book on Tuesday evening at BAM and started reading. Now I haven't sat down to read a book in ages, but I could not lay this one down. Silly me didn't know there were more books until I grabbed the laptop and searched for Sherryl Woods. Then I found out there were 3 more books,I started out with #3, "A Slice of Heaven"!! Needless to say, I couldn't wait to get back to BAM Wednesday morning (thank goodness I'm on 2 wks vacation!)only to find out they didn't have books 1,2 and 4. I searched the local libraries, called all the bookstores in a 50 mile radius and STILL NO LUCK. Do I load up my dog and drive to Virginia?? Somehow, i couldn't visualize how I would get my 200 pound St Bernard in my SUV...so I resorted to Amazon, ordered all 3 books and now I am waiting. This is worse than the season finale of your favorite tv show!!! So I went as far as to order a Kindle, so I can download instantly, but there again...I have to wait for it to be shipped!! So much for cleaning the house,(housework can make you grouchy), I want to read!! In response to message #0   I'm still chuckling at the image of you loading your St. Bernard into a car for the trip to Virginia. My neighbor's overly possessive English sheepdog would have plenty to say about that! Thanks so much for your enthusiasm, though.
